Na-diagnose na may stage 3 breast cancer si Liezl at ang naging cause daw no’n, ayon kay Amalia, ay ang pagpapalagay nito ng silicone implant sa dibdib. Ayon pa sa dating aktres, naimpluwensiyahan daw siguro ang anak ng mga kaibigan nito na magpa-breast augmentation.

MANILA, Philippines – Comedienne-host Pokwang has found a “new friend” on social networking site Facebook.

Pokwang made this admission after Willie Revillame hinted on “Wowowee” that she is dating a foreigner.

But Pokwang said: “Sa tingin ko parang wala pa naman [akong boyfriend]… friendship pa lang. Ayokong [magsalita] kasi baka maudlot na naman.”

Manny Pacquiao to comply with Nevada order on urine test

LAS VEGAS – The head of the Nevada boxing commission ordered Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. to submit to urine tests Monday as a way of trying to break the impasse that has threatened to derail their proposed March 13 megafight.

Pacquiao and Mayweather must submit to the tests within 48 hours or face possible fines or suspension by the Nevada Athletic commission.

Pacquiao, who is spending time with his family in his hometown of General Santos City, will fly to Manila today to comply with the directive, according to a PhilBoxing.com report.

PBB and Showtime are Shaking Mega Manila TV Ratings

Based from the overnight tv ratings of AGB Nielsen in Mega Manila from Dec. 23 to 28, 2009, Showtime and Pinoy Big Brother are now forces to be reckoned with in the daytime and primetime race respectively.

From December 23 to 28, Showtime trumped its rival show SiS with a difference of 10% and even higher in some days. It also bested the noontime show Wowowee last Wednesday, Saturday and Monday and a tie last Thursday. The only day Wowowee rated higher was last Friday.

GMA 2010 POWER SHOWS!

GMA unleashed its telebabad line-up for 2010 in all theaters showing Metro Manila Film Festival movies on Christmas Day.

GMA’s dominance in the AGB Mega Manila TV Ratings was greatly challenge in 2009 as ABS-CBN’s May Bukas Pa, Tayong Dalawa and Pinoy Big Brother Double UP were able to snatch the no. 1 position in the primetime race from time to time.

In 2010, they prepared a line-up of new series that may continue their Mega Manila leadership or may result to ABS-CBN taking over the dominance. It all depends in the people’s reception on these programs.
