Rather, Megastar Sharon Cuneta and husband Sen. Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan will adopt less fortunate children the way Hollywood couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have their Maddox, Pax, and Zahara.
The Pangilinans plan to adopt in 2010.
Cuneta bared their plan at the recent 35th Metro Manila Film Festival awards rites where she won as best actress for her role in “Mano Po 6: My Mother’s Love.”
Cuneta, who has three daughters (KC Concepcion with her ex-husband Gabby Concepcion, and Simone Francesca Emmanuelle and Maria Daniella Sophia with Kiko), wants to adopt “boys.”
“Kahit ilang baby boys. We can arrange the adoption. Inaayos na namin ngayon pa lang,” she told reporters after the awarding ceremony.
The Megastar added: “We want it official. Nakahanda na ang mga papeles.”
Cuneta’s announcement came after her recent visit to Hospicio de San Jose, a welfare institution dedicated to serving abandoned and special children and elderly people.
