The Film Desk of the Young Critics Circle will recognize the best Filipino films of 2011 in an awarding ceremony to be held on June 27, 2012 at the Jorge B. Maynilad Water Services, Inc., in partnership with UP Cineastes presents thinkLiquid, a short film competition daring young filmmakers to tackle issues surrounding access to clean water and the role of water to attaining a better quality of life. We acknowledge that water is a dwindling necessity usually taken for granted, and we recognize film as a good medium to spread our advocacy for saving our water supply.
