JAX COTE : RACIST!
Racism needs no explanation. Once you are branded as one, you are doomed. In a twitter comment, a certain Canadian named JAX COTE bravely remarked that the recent super typhoon YOLANDA that hit Central Philippines Friday was a divine plan to eradicate Philippinos [FILIPINOS] from the planet! She is now being pummeled online and may she survive the consequences just like Devina!
She has deleted her Twitter account.
ENRIQUE GIL : HIP-WHIPPING BONE-SMASHING SENSATION!
Enrique Gil epitomizes the new mestizo look. His fairness is well kept with his disarming charm especially when he slices the air with his million-worth smile. The Cebuano gentleness in him further leave an engaging calmness that whenever he is on screen there is this ticklish sensation that makes you giggle a bit. He truly is the hot guy on the block and when he taught us all how to doughie, there wasn’t turning back ENRIQUE GIL effortlessly slew the boredom of the local showbiz beat! He has already made a name for himself in several photoplays and lately rumors have it that it was he who the crowd lined up for and not a Dingdong Dantes or a Bea Alonzo in StarCinema’s SHE’S THE ONE. He is the gold that everybody wants to mine now but definitely the credits go to ABS-CBN network that nurtured him right for the game. He is soon to star in his own big dome affair which will further showcase his stupefying dance moves among other exciting treats!
SAM CONCEPCION : BUFFED FOR THE WIN!
Lately, former child singer/actor SAM CONCEPCION has noticeably grown to be a fine looking gentleman. He has this ‘safe’ finely chiseled face that can make you swoon in a bet and wet somewhere. Undoubtedly, his charm is disarming and you can feel the machismo revving up inside every each time he appears on tv or film. He sure has buffed his body for a win! A great career-move if you’d ask helplessly-starstruck-old-me since it is doing him wonders. Also a fabulously voiced crooner, SAM is all you need in an all-weather mode to keep you oiled up with desire! Way to go, SAM… watch his ‘MAHAL NA MAHAL’ mv to ‘feel’ what I totally mean!

Xixi Maturan’s Birthday Stray Away @ BlueWater Maribago Beach Resort in Mactan!
I must be very blessed this time around. Having had the chance [not just a ghost-of!] to visit one of Cebu‘s [and perhaps of this country , too] high-end resort/hotel where I celebrated my birthday is definitely one sweet episode of my fifty-seven lovely years in this planet. Totally expensive and quaint, BLUE WATER MARIBAGO Resort links you up effortlessly to nature without the usual frenzy and tacky crowd available to lesser mortals. As you are ushered in, you suddenly imbibe a classy air where an almost invisible [but cordial] crew make sure that your stay will be as heavenly as possible. Settling by the pool and a slightly late lunch, I felt a serene breeze shoot right through my snout which lingered until the second I hesitantly had to bid adieu to rejoin the nastier part of where I came from. I won’t give details as to pricing and amenities among other etceteras since I am NOT a travel blogger. If you feel that these limited snapshots are good enough to entice your itchy heels to hail the next plane to Cebu then visit their website by clicking this link : BLUEWATER MARIBAGO

LILO-AN … WHIRLY TWIRLY VISIT
Yesterday I visited Lilo-an town , a 15 minute ride north of Cebu City. The town is best known to be the home of Lola Titay Fuentes, now long gone but her baked goodies are still tops in your pasalubong list. It is also where the fabulous Pilar Pilapil grew up to be the queen and star that she is. But then the focal point of the town’s totality is the parola or watch tower that beams through the night to guide seafarers on their watery tracks. Here’s a quick wikinote : One of the best known landmarks in Lilo-an is its historic lighthouse at Bagacay Point. The original lighthouse was built in 1857 by the Spanish. However, the current tower was constructed in 1904 by order of William Howard Taft, the first Governor-General of the Philippines and later the President of the United States. The tower is 72 feet tall and remains in active use today using solar energy. The lighthouse has been declared a National Historical Landmark on August 13, 2004 by the National Historical Commission of the Philippines (formerly known as National Historical Institute).
By the way LILO-AN literally means ‘whirlpool’ … yes, lots of tiny whirlpools at the delta of the suba. Visit Lilo-an sometime…
JUDY ANN SANTOS & RYAN AGONCILLO : Hitching Rides To Splitsville?
Spreading like a plague at this very moment as you breathe are talks that JUDY ANN SANTOS and RYAN AGONCILLO‘s marriage is in imminent danger of being run over by a bus from splitsville! Allegedly , the actress have had it with hubby’s philandering and his way of belittling her person at any given situation. Are these mere buoys to attract curiosity and pile up some audience share with Ms. Santos’ low rating series as opposed to GMA’s MHL? Eventually, when all wars have been won, truth will prevail and nobody is declared a winner in this crazy game of love , deceit and hate!
JUN-JUN QUINTANA : CINEMALAYA HUNK
When maverick filmmaker Eduardo Roy Jr. saw promising young actor Jun-Jun Quintana, he knew right away that he had his perfect Uno, the most important male character for his Cinemalaya New Breed entry about the life and loves of the transexuals and the transgenders, Quick Change.
“Jun-Jun is a perfect fit for the role,” enthused Roy adding,” and he delivered effortlessly.”
Patient and persevering in the crazy showbiz jungle, Jun-Jun Q’s acting potential was first noticed in Adolfo Alix’s Haruo, the Young Critics Circle Best Film of 2012. Critics wrote glowingly of Jun-Jun’s felt performance.
He also headlined CBN Asia’s Holy Week Drama Special for 700 Club for two consecutive years.
Recently, Jun-Jun played the lead role in the stage play Imbisibol, one of the more successful one-act plays of the Virgin Labfest at the Cultural Center of the Philippines.
Up for him is another lead role for the coming CinemaOne Originals Independent Film Festival in November and the green light has been turned on for his first ever soap opera, Hanggang Kailan Kita Mamahalin for ABS-CBN.
