It could not happen to a better actor [the least to a chance] to star in two films in a festival.  Well, sometimes it does and that sometime is this year’s CINEMALAYA Independent Film Festival where PAULO AVELINO is expected to generate excitement and anticipation as he topbills in Tarrog’s ‘SANA DATI’ and Yapan’s ‘DEBOSYON’.  Whispering waves echoing through the industry has it that he stands another great chance of winning an award for either… or both!  Undoubtedly, Avelino’s depth and expository thespian range is a hard nut to crack while lavishing on the boyish masculine charm it comes from.  This early?
