The UP Film Institute has a full line-up of screenings for April 2013 at the UPFI Film Center in UP Diliman with a focus on films that have best defined and anticipated the ascendancy enjoyed by current independent filmmaking in the country.

No indie film special can be complete without paying homage to brothers Rox Lee and Mon Lee with no less than a retro showcase of their landmark film on an iconic comic-strip character they have created.
For a fill of world-class Pinoy animation, the Animation Council of the Philippines brings to the premier state university the winning works from the latest edition of the Animahenasyon Philippine Animation Festival.
