Finally, CINEMALAYA 2012 INDEPENDENT FILM FESTIVAL is to set to quench indie-addicts on its 8th year as it opens on July 20, Friday in two venues which are both open to the public. The opening is a tribute to the great Filipino Film Writer/Director/Actor MARIO O’HARA who passed on recently. His ‘BABAE SA BREAKWATER‘ , an impelling drama set in the squalor of human existence in the big city will be shown to the public for free. The venues are : TRINOMA CINEMA in Quezon City with opening ceremonies at the lobby and film showing in its Cinema 1 at 5:30p ; and at the CULTURAL CENTER OF THE PHILIPPINES (CCP) lobby ; then film showing at the Main Theater at 6p. Both events are almost simultaneous and are FREE TO THE PUBLIC. See you there!
