“Ano ba yaaaannnnn!!!???”, tumitiling sigaw si Robetita Flackflack sa isang movie reporter na madalas magsulat sa channel 2. “Bakit hanggang ngayon ay hindi pa nasusundan ng bagong teleserye si Micah Muñoz sa channel 2 after ng Diosa ni Anne Curtis? Aba naman, mas may karapatan namang di-hamak itong si Micah na sumikat keysa kina Ejay Falcon at Enchong Dee, ‘no?”
Natameme lang ang movie writer na tinaray-tarayan ni Robetita Flackflack.
Hindi makaimik at hindi makapag-explain. Kasi alam naman ng movie reporter na yun na totoo naman talaga ang sinasabi ni Robertita Flackflack (ang exclusive “gossip spy” ng ALIWAN AVENUE.) Kumpara kina Ejay at Enchong, di-hamak na mas magaling umarte at mas guwapo itong si Micah.
“At produkto ng Repertory Philippines si Micah, noh! Hindi basta-basta ang naging training niya sa pag-arte compared kina Ejay at Enchong!”, muli pang tili ni Robertita Flackflack sa isang defenseless movie reporter. “Naku, napaka-banong umarte niyang si Ejay! At si Enchong naman, mukha siyang basurero na hindi mo malaman kung anong papel sa mundo!”
Unang napansin ng karamihan si Micah nung gumanap siya bilang teenager na laging nabubugbog ng mga sindikato sa telseryeng “Pieta” ng channel 2. Maraming dramtic highlights si Micah sa teleseryeng yun at kaya naman marami ang nagalingan sa acting niya sa drama. Hindi rin nag-dalawang isip ang channel 2 na sundan pa yun ng isa pang teleserye, ang “Diosa”, kung saan ay papel naman ng isang young media reporter ang ginampanan ni Micah. At isa si Micah sa dahilan kung bakit naging top-rater ang programang iyon. Ngayon, nakapagtataka kuing bakit ilang buwan na ang nakakaraan ay hindi pa rin sinusundan ng channel 2 ng next prject si Micah!
“Inuna pa nilang pasikatin sina Ejay at Enchong na mga walang ‘K’!”, tili pa muli ni Roberttita Flackflack.”Samantalang ang isang tunay na aktor sa katauhan ni Micah ay binabale-wala nila! It’s unfair!!!!”
Anyway, may mga magagandang indie films naman ngayon si Micah. Ang latest, kasama din siya sa pelikulang “Ben And Sam”, bilang pinaka-main kontrabida sa buhay ng dalawang bida roon na sina Ben at Sam.
“Ako ang papatay sa isa sa kanila- either si Sam or si Ben”, kuwento pa ni Micah. “Maganda ang role ko dito. Sa school campus namin, sina ben at Sam ang karibal ko sa pagiging Campus hearthrobs. Eh nagkataong ang karakter ko dito ay homophobic. meaning, galit ako sa mga bakla. Kasi, I have my own issue in life. Yun tatay ko pala, ay bakla din. Kaya galit ako sa mga bakla. And this is my first kontrabida role to date.”
Ipinalabas din sa nagdaang Cinema One Originals ang isang indie film na pinagbidahan ni Micah, ang “Pisay”. Papel naman ng isang young male volunteer on charity works ang ginampanan ni Micah sa pelikulang ito.
Aliwan Avenue 
Sa nagsulat nito, bitter mo naman, I’ve seen micah in gateway at wala man lang nakakarecognize sa kanya, true na gwapo din naman siya. Pero diba si enchong ang inaabangan ng tao dun? Hindi lang po si micah ang frozen delight ng ABS so wag ng idamay si Enchong dito.
mahirap mag comment sa mga ganitong story kasi hindi naman natin alam kung ano ang nangyayari sa loob ng network. kanya-kanya rin kasi ng diskarte yan. may palakasan, may kumikabit sa mga network producer, and yung mga walang talent pero may looks siguro hindi nila pwedeng sabihin na pinabayaan sila. may casting producer kasi ang mga show. so kung hindi naman bagay sa kanila ang roles bakit sila kukunin diba. dapat ang starlet or baguhan ang mag effort sa career nila.
yung may mga talent naman syempre always present yan sa mga show kasi may napatunayan na.
mas sikat naman kasi si enchong… si ejay bagay sakanya ang role. nakakabwisit ang character nya. o xa mismo nakakabwisit.
how can an actor with a name like MICAH MUNOZ become sikat? the madlang pipol of my byutipol kantri is not , i repeat is not culturally ready to accept a male actor with a generally FEMALE NAME. when the credits roll, we thinks that micah is a girl and if captioned on a male face, we gets confused and refuse to patronize the idea. EXCUSEME2x, but ENCHONG IS FAMOUS… not only as an actor but as a sportsman as well! he is a gold medalist in his field. and EXCUSEME3x, EJAY is a PBB GRAND WINNER and he is FAR, FAR, MORE FAMOUS than an actor with a girlyname like micah!
Hindi naman sa pangalan lang ibinabase ang pagsikat ng isang artista. Maski naman ang pangalang enchong dee ay ang sakit pakinggan sa tenga! ENCHONG! Parang ngongo ang dating, pero dahil mas nabigyan siya ng pagkakataon ng channel 2 ay mas sumikat siya at nagkapangalan and i am happy for him. Sapat na promos at publicities ang naisuporta sa kanya, samantalang si Micah ay walang ganung suportang nakuha. Yes, Micah’s name sounds likea female. Pero unique naman at masarap pakinggan. It’s my opinion lang naman as a writer na sana’y mabigyan din si Micah ng sapat na atensyon sa channel 2 dahil nakatawag-pansin naman siya sa mga teleseryeng Prinsesa Ng Banyera at Diosa…. He is well-trained in the field of acting, having started it out in the field of entertainment mula pa nu’ng bata pa siya sa repertory Philippines. Sa bagong indie film niyang “Bala-Bala” na isa sa mga films na nag-compete sa Cinema One fest last month, siya na ang main character. Napi-feel kasi ng writer na ito na Micah has the makings of a real good actor kapag nag-mature na siya- na pang-bida talaga. … At yang si Ejay naman, hindi naman basehan na porke’t grand winner ka sa isang reality show ay top actor ka na. Flat na flat ang pag-arte niya sa Katorse, ito’y sa opinyon ko lang. Period.
si micah muñoz ay hulog ng langit para sa aming pelikulang BALA BALA. what is meant to be is meant to be. and i firmly believe, he is one of the young actors that has great acting qualities. i am not a director, nor a scriptwriter… i am a movie fanatic and his acting… is like not acting at all. i get caught up in his character, clearly making the story tell the story, saying the words like how he should, not as micah as but the character he is playing. he just doesn’t walk the talk. he is the TALK!…
my two cents: philippine cinema is about the story and who tells it… and the one who transcends it is the actor who we see… MICAH MUNOZ… he is one of those who tells the story straight.

Sa award winning film na PISAY, lutang na ang acting niya. His short appearance was remarkable.
And as per Enchong, sana wag na siya umakting – lumangoy na lang sya. Ejay – Hamon na Hamon -pwede sa pasko!
if your beautiful country is my country too…Philippines…then im sorry to say but we are culturally prepared to accept a name such as Micah, even if he is a guy. As far as i know Micah is from the bible and it was a guy who was named micah.. if you dont know anything about where Micah Munoz came from except for your own opinion that the name is only for a girl…wag ka nalang mag comment ng ganun…i agree with roberto silverio, wala naman sa pangalan yung kagalingan ng acting…i dont think anyone wants to put down enchong dee and ejay, they, we just think that a great actor such as Micah should be given the opportunity to share his talents with other people…

i know where you are coming from. i also am aware that ‘micah’ is a biblical man’s name; what you did not understand is that i am pointing from a showbiz point of view. showbiz requires quick recall and that determines the level a star can elevate from nothingness. and you have NO right to dictate me with my opinion as well as don’t give me the BULL of your qoutable qoutes because i have a lot more than that. if you are a manipulating pig , keep it to your own world and not with strangers. you’ve got enough nerve to defend a name but then you cannot defend your stupidity. if micah is a good actor then so be it. let us see if as ‘micah munoz’ he will be the biggest star next year!
micah munoz is not the stereo-typed “too much, too soon” guy that most talents male talents of channel 2 do suffer from. channel 2 is such a friendly and loving tv network which is family-oriented. but they fry too much male talents- all too much in a hurry, all too soon in a hush. then, what happens. i assure you, fifi, if micah will not make a big name as a STAR next year. he will make a good name as an ACTOR in the coming years.

napakaraming magagaling na talent ang hindi nabibigyan ng break for so many reasons. ganun talaga. may mga factors kasi. pati huwag madaliin at ipagpilitan ng basta basta. kung magaling talaga, lalabas na magaling yan at magtatagal. kung walang binibigay na break maghanap ng ibang magbibigay ng break. tingnan nyo, magaling “daw” na artista yang micah, as compared to enchong and ej, pero sa kwentong ito, tila nagagamit yung dalawang walang katalent talent ng isang talented na hindi masyadong sikat….. parang medyo ironic.
nakakapagtaka lang naman kasi, seven, kung bakit mas nabibigyan ng chances ang mga walang ka-talent-talent. may hitsu naman siya, mga darleng. baka kailangan niya magpa-seksi, yung maka-water2 ang keps ko. kung gusto niya sumikat! eh si enchong nga, babading-bading pero may masel, marunong lumandi kaya carry na rin. si ejay, masarap, mukhang nalawayan na ng bading kaya puede na rin. si micah, parang virgin pa. ‘la pa libog kaya malayo ang tinign ni fafa luck, ahahay!
let’s face it. the good actors remain in theaters while those on tv are the crappy ones. people go after the actors who got the face value than talent. well, that’s business. just compare micah to charice pempengco. charice was snobbed for a long while but still cos the talent is really there, she went phenomenal later on. i’m positive micah will soon be one too!
so from the point of view of someone from showbiz such as you, the name of an actor will determine it’s fame rather than the quality of his/her acting? is that really how actors are chosen nowadays? if thats what you are saying then itll be an insult to those actors who have earned their fame and their name in the business based on what they can do..
